August 17, 2010

  • Fertility clinic called to postpone appointment & booked on same day as cancer follow up.
  • Cancer follow up will be a colposcopy to inspect the cervix and make sure there is no further abnormal cell growth.
  • Fertility appointment is to have the interview with the Health Canada nurse, get the results from our blood tests/semen analysis, and plan the IVF treatments.

July 14, 2010

  • Had both cancer & fertility appointments today.
  • Cancer doc will keep an eye on my cervix for a year or two to make sure I’m still clear.
  • Fertility doc is sending us for blood & semen analyses and a counselling session as per gov’t requirements.  IVF treatments to follow!

  • Confirmed that regular doctor did NOT send my referral to the UBC Fertility Clinic yet, and that’s why it’s taking so stupid long.  Sheesh.

  • Cancer doc called to say that results from the May 11 LEEP are back & everything is peachy.  They are confident they got it all, but I should come in to talk about future plans.   Appointment booked for July 14.
